A report by a right wing think tank Civitas, an organisation which conceals it's funding, they call this a report when it is actually a poll of 1,168 teenagers aged 16 to 18 and then all the right wing papers pick it up and peddle their fury. Damming report, oh yeah sure, diversion definitely. You want a fact or two, in the 2021 census 45.4 million over the age of 16 responded "Yes" to the question "Is the gender you identify with the same as your sex registered at birth?", 262,000 answered "No", and 2.9 million didn't answer the question, that is 93.5% answered yes, 0.5% answered no and 6% didn't answer. Gender identity, England and Wales - Office for National Statistics (ons.gov.uk) So do you think that 6.5% of the people around you are transgender, I'm assuming the 6% are lying by refusal to answer if so, and maybe they are, then something not that far from 10% might want to swap gender if they could and this so called report might be close to accurate, but they aren't because there just aren't those kinds of numbers undergoing transition. And I hate to break it to you but anywhere between 10% and 20% of the entire planet are not entirely 100% hetrosexual for their entire lives, this has been known for a very long time.
