Yeah I was aware of your situation Howerd, similar but we had no worries about the ex, he was long ago married to someone else as was shown by the family record in Korea, our problem was that Korea does not (or did not in Ana's case) have a one side instigated divorce, their main divorce route was consensual divorce and that does not fit well with Philippine law, so we are pursuing a case in the Phils based on the fairness law that asserts that a Filipino who has been divorced from a foreigner should be able to remarry, as it is absurd that a Filipino should be married to a foreigner who is already legally married to another person, or who has the legal right to become married to another person.

I am not sure how old you are OSS, but I think you must be like me, and of more mature years and wondering what the future may hold. I have two elderly aunts (late eighties) who have both (individually and jointly) tried to dissuade me from the relationship. Unfortunately, they both think that my loved one sees me a passport to the UK. I just hope they are still both alive when my loved one finally arrives on these shores.

Early 50's mate and Ana is late 30's, nearly 40, although I would not dare remind her of that :D

And well yes, like you everyone I know thinks I'm being conned, but as I said I have lived there a long time, and while she is often a nightmare and has often done things that I consider terrible, I still love her and I love my son and my daughter too.

It is often hard to have a relationship with a person who is a good bit younger than oneself but in our case we are of similar emotional ages :D

Seven years is a long time, we are almost at the point where a lot of relationships fail for lots of stupid reasons and god knows we have come close so many times, it takes a step back but one has to take into account just how difficult things are for her over there, it is very hard to be living alone bringing up two kids with no job, not owning your own home and constantly worrying about the future and that applies to me here in the UK too although I am the one with the job.

She might well be nuts :) but I will die for her and my kids, if she had just wanted a way out of the Philippines she could have done that easily the minute we got her Korean citizenship and her Philippine citizenship restored in 2007, she didn't and that speaks volumes :)

I almost never post pics that include me, but I will make an exception this time :D

Janna at age one week, three and a half years ago, James in front, he is now up to the the top of the letter T on Ana's T-shirt in this pic :) Ana is 5 foot 6 inch tall, James is about 4 foot 4 inch aged 6 :D Janna is pretty tall for girl of her age too.

And another family pic that I am very very fond of :)

Very nice pictures. That second picture is a really good photo and I can clearly see that whatever was happening at the time the camera clicked, it was a joyous time.. I love those part candid, part pose shots :)

It is good to see some photos - I will upload some as soon as my loved one gets her annulment, and let my real name be known too.
