More than that, he has apparently served jail time in the UK. I can see questions being raised, if this is the case. Why is he even allowed to be here if has previously commited a crime?
He had served time here, for attacking an emergency worker. He had also fought a security guard following a shoplifting incident. https://www.readingchronicle.co.uk/...ry-39-s-security-guard-quizzed-reading-brawl/
The sign of things to come. Take the knee not a chance, meanwhile 3 innocents are slain in Reading and what got done? For info The Dixie chicks ( some girl pop group) have renamed to The Chicks as Dixie has historical links to the slave trade.
The killing of Floyd was truly shocking. The sad truth is that everyday people are killed and and the killer gets away with it. My father was murdered and the police decided to not press charges. I can understand why a lack of justice makes people want to take on the police and riot.
I feel sorry for all the WW2 veterans, black and white, who fought and died so that their home country might be free of tyranny. Some seventy years later it appears a large number of US police act like Hitlers brownshirts.
I opened this thread up to political discussion, something that we normally would not do or allow. But yes Jim, there is something seriously wrong in US law enforcement and it is openly supported and encouraged at the highest levels of their government, look at Barr and McConnell and all the rest who stand idly by as their constitution is torn to shreds day after day after day or are active participants in tearing it up. I am sad for all of their veterans no matter which war they fought in, they are all being treated like garbage, and as for the German analogy, you know we had huge political arguments on this forum a few years ago where many of our members then warned about exactly what we are seeing now, those arguments were so divisive and angry that we have an entire forum locked off from public view, indeed one of us might have deleted it at some point in the past. We were derided at the time for the comparisons to 1920-30s Germany, but the last three and half years have been a lesson on the subversion of a democracy and an illuminating insight to how little democracy was there to begin with. It does not just apply to the US in my opinion.
