just out of interest and I’m in no way ‘tight’ but does the financial support make up change for a Filipino women when you are eventually married? No matter the proximity or distance ?

If you are asking "does a Filipina wife expect more money when she is married", I think this depends on the lady.
It is very difficult to answer as IMO, it would be wrong to stereotype Filipina wives in this way as everyone is different, and marriages are different too.

A lot depends on the couples' circumstances.

I used to send my wife money when she was in the Philippines and during the marriage preparation and spousal visa period.

We both live in the UK with children and we both work.
I have asked her to work 80 hours a week to keep me in the comfort that I deserve but, strangely, she just looks at me with a perplexed smile and says "boang". I just can't figure wives out .
