Stay tuned for another exciting episode of BLM America, just been a black 15 year old girl shot 4 or 5 times (lots of screaming/shouting so I didn't count the shots) as she was engaged in a knife fight with another girl, there's been a march overnight, it never ends. Chauvin will appeal.
Chauvin was kneeling on George Floyd's neck for more than nine minutes with him crying out that he could not breathe before he died. Shameful. If one of our own family was killed in such a barbaric way, how would we feel?
Neck/shoulder blade, he was shifting position was he not?As soon as Biden chimed in Chauvin goose was cooked, let's see how the appeal goes
The appeal, as disgusting as it may appear to some, will go Chauvin way, with probably an acquittal due to external political interference. It is well documented that Biden, Harris and some other congress woman did express the open wish for a guilty verdict. The jury was not shielded from those comments, as far as I know, and they may have followed their leaders cue, albeit subconsciously . That will be more than ground enough for a successful appeal as the conviction being, perceived, to be pre-ordered by the President and his minions, will make it ripe for quashing altogether or go for retrial. Not sure if in this case double jeopardy would apply.
yep--it will be party time. Burn loot murder on a grand scale. Then when the smoke has cleared they will be moaning and demanding their 'hood is unfit to live in.
15 year old girl shot yesterday, marches last night and her aunt interviewed saying she was unarmed, luckily the police bodycam shows her about to plunge a large knife into another kid.
This is a completely different situation. The policeman shot her and possibly saved the life of the person she was attacking in the process. It was an on-the-spot decision to shoot and will probably be seen as the correct one in a country where the police have guns as a matter of course. Regardless of what sort of character George Floyd was, he was in the custody of the police and was slowly killed while saying many times that he couldn't breath. I don't see as what happened to him can be seen as anything other than murder.
Murder, the unlawful premeditated, that's the word, premeditated, killing of one person by another, at exactly what point while restraining floyd did officer chauvin decide to end his life?
When he continued to kneel on his neck while Floyd was saying he couldn't breath perhaps? Murder does not need to be pre-meditated. It can also be the killing of a person with what is termed as "malice aforethought". Malice aforethought includes a level of recklessness, which was clearly shown in the killing of George Floyd. It was clear that the man was struggling for his life yet the policeman continued to restrict his breathing. It was, at best, extreme recklessness. Just because Floyd was an unsavory character doesn't make it any less so. Murder legal definition of murder (thefreedictionary.com)
Also, crimes of passion suggests that there is no "malice aforethought". https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crime_of_passion
Evidence of that in video please, with a time in the video where he is standing up and saying he can't breath.
