Having been stuck on 83.8 kilos for 3 weeks I decided to do a fast and zero alcohol. Fast lasted 20 hours, broke the fast with avocado and cream, then later had dinner Chicken breast and mix of vegetables. Weighed in at 82.8 kilos this morning, lost 1 kilo over night. Doing another fast now.
Well done Jim. We have been so accustomed to the “three square meals a day” line, haven’t we. When we don’t actually need them a lot of the time. This is something Mrs Ash has learned - she has been brainwashed into thinking that she needs 3 meals a day with rice but has proved to herself that neither is necessary. She does a physically active job and doesn’t go hungry. Avocado and cream - perfect! Losing weight eating fat. Brilliant.
Graph of the Week from Dr David Unwin from his Southport NHS surgery. His patient achieved drug free T2 remission / reversal and improved blood pressure. His patient has been weaned of the ace inhibitors as they are no longer required. All down to cutting out sugar and starchy carbs.
Mrs Ash breakfast today. Sausage, egg, bacon and a slice of Hovis Nimble bread. Dinner. Gently fried salmon with lemon and broccoli spears. And cauliflower cheese. I had the same. No snacks in between as she wasn’t hungry. No rice, potato, pasta, bread etc.
That's my sort of food, salmon and asparagus, only one thing makes it perfect, wild salmon I was renown in our area during the miners strike as a salmon poacher without equal
That was me, I got a shotgun when I was 13 or 14 with my salmon money, a little double barrel folding.410 for duck and pheasant, fun times
Low carb ish, but not keto friendly. Carrots 9.6 carb. and what kind of noodles where those? (Missed that) Ordinary noodles are high carb.
Yes. If you were looking at Keto then you might eliminate carrots. Using a low carb noodle. https://primalliving.com/blogs/reci...K2mJbo6kKIxoXAgcdKPLP9ejOMYafNdHSy4HD2qkQlWtU
You've mentioned belts before John, this is mine I bought it 16 years ago and it has been a brilliant belt Position 1 was the start of 2021 and it was a tight pull to get it to that position, you can see the wear on the holes and the overall curvature of the belt is due to my gut tending to push it down over the years. Position 2 shows progressively less wear on the less used fastening sizes there were times ten years ago when I was occasionally lighter. Position 3 shows tonight and that is now a comfortable setting without any straining indeed it was a still little loose at that position. The last time I used it at position 3 for any length of time was 2006 when I was a bit lighter than I am now, but back then I luckily bought another one that was a bit smaller from the same company it currently fastens at the second hole so I can use both now and the second one should still be fine about 5 months from now, they are both money belts with a concealed zipped pocket running the length of the belt that can take about £600 in rolled up twenties and quite hard to get anything as well made these days.
