    Hi again,
My fiancée applied at VFS in Cebu 27 March 18
She send her documents on to me and I sent them to

    Settlement Applications
    International Operations and Visas
    PO Box 5852
    Sheffield
    United Kingdom
    S11 0FX

They were not signed for and returned to me, I must be missing something here?
Our local post office did say that other people are having this problem
I know they are in the process of changing over to the scanning service
Even VSF gave the information to send documents to Sheffield on that day but now I see the information on their website has changed.
Surely there should be some sort of transition period? Not change it mid application process without informing us.
I would really appreciate any advice

Great way of slowing down immigration. That's what's happening.

Yes totally agree and make more money while doing this
On the day my fiancee visited VFS their website said they would upload the documents but told her no they don't and gave the Sheffield address. She in turn sent them to me and I sent them on.

When we applied for a visit visa in December last year and they uploaded the documents then in March they don't but now they do I think, confused because I am. This is now my 4th experience of applying over the years for Visas I stupidly thought it was getting easier
This site https://www.ukvcas.co.uk/home-internal where you book to upload documents is great:frust: I can't even work out how to make an account to do anything.

As far as I am aware you should still be able to post the application clearly this is no longer the case.

Looking at the Sopra site it suggests that you can walk into a centre and drop off your documents for a fee or you can use a scanning centre again for a fee or you can upload at home is this how you read it?

Apparently not but I have only found out information from other forums from people phoning Sheffield, I personally was told 27 March but other people have had the same problem at the beginning of March. I haven't found any official info on this.

No because I went to my closest centre and is only done by booking on their website, the email I sent trying to book an appointment says it may take to 10 days to reply

Your sponsor should bring a copy of your passport, along with your document checklist if you have applied via Access UK, or the first page of your visa application form if you have applied via visa4uk. Your sponsor should also provide all supporting documents; these will be scanned and handed back at the time of their visit.

Yes I have this info but my point is the VFS gave the wrong info and the government introduced this when people are part way through an application. all this info you posted is new. It was not on the VFS website at the time of applying for the visa.

Oh woow...that sucks for sure..not only do they make you wait. But now they aren't clear on where and what you have to do....hmm so it's possible to hand them in on one of those locations?

I have been assured after a phone call to Sheffield because of the way we have applied for the visa,
I can just walk into my local centre and upload the documents without doing this beforehand or making an appointment:frust:. They also told me (including a manager)they have never heard of (Sopra Steria )UKVCAS https://www.ukvcas.co.uk/home-internal the official partners of visas & immigration that sit in all these new centres around the UK he thinks it's a scam website :D lol.
This info is really only for the people that have had their documents returned due to the changes they made mid application. New applications should be fine :like: as the info is out there for new applications on the websites at the time of applying.
