Although the standard A1 test is 'banded' as indicated by @one world the A1 test used for immigration purposes is a simple pass/fail. It is really not suitable for any other purpose than for immigrating to the UK.
Hi i will take english test and tb test next month. I read A1 cost 12,070 right? How much cost for tb test? Thank you.
Hi @Iainchelle. I took the TB test last year and I think I paid the fee indicated in their website, Php3200. https://www.gov.uk/government/publi...pines/tuberculosis-testing-in-the-philippines
my girlfriend just took her TB test 2 weeks ago and the fee is definitely 3200 pesos, payable in cash when you go there (no payment up front or online)
There is an option to pay online and offline. Not sure if you could pay when you go there (IDP) but for the offline option, i believe you could pay the exam in cash over the counter in BPI, BDO or MetroBank.
Hi Guys I havent been on here for ages so im just reading through the posts and catching up. Its visa time again so I have a question. I am not sure which IELTS we need to book for the wife as she is coming here to work as a nurse. Do we just get the IELTS for UKVI academic or do we need to do that one and the Life Skills one as well. I am just wondering if the score from the academic visa will be able to be used towards the life skills as we are applying for a spouse visa this time so she will be staying here and with her been a nurse she needs to have the academic IELTS to enable us to get the ball rolling with the NMC. I cant find any answers anywhere and I have trawled the websites. Any info would be much appreciated
hello everyone! I am basically on my tourist visa and staying here for 5 months, and will be going back to PH in June, I'm wondering whilst I'm here, is it possible if I could take IELTS here in the UK? I'm going to apply for fiancée visa when I get back to the PH. many thanks!
By all means take the IELTS test here, take a look at the link below to find the nearest location; http://takeielts.britishcouncil.org/book-your-test/book-now
Hi everyone , I took my EILTS exam last year August 2015 it says that it is valid for 2years . I was not able to use my EILTS exam test certificate and now we're planning to apply for spouse visa this coming september . Can i still use this ? .
If the IELTS test was the SELT (Secure English Language Testing) type, then yes. Otherwise, you will need to retake. https://www.gov.uk/government/uploa...e_English_Language_Tests_and_Test_Centres.pdf
Is anyone else confused or am I misreading? http://www.british-filipino.com/index.php?threads/english-test-for-flr.12640/#post-115097
For the very reason you state I think it is a safer bet to tell people to take a new test if they have the slightest doubt, better safe than sorry.
It is and it affects us most recent applicants here on BF. I dont think i'll be the one to test the system with an old English test
I took ielts life skills A1 speaking and listening last 19th of November 2015,in the Philipines and im here in the UK now,can i still use it when i apply spouse visa? Thanks..
