I recommend that she takes her Passport and one other Government issued ID document which has a photo of her, plus two passport size photos just in case.
The requirement for the TB Test (which logically comes next!) is the same as is the requirement for the attendance at VFS for the biometrics and submission of the file of documents.
New A2 English requirement in the family route effective from October 2016, actual precise implementation date yet to be determined https://www.gov.uk/government/news/new-a2-english-requirement-in-the-family-route Indefinate Leave to Remain (ILR) english level remains at B1.
Wife got her lifeskills test result at A1 and was a pass, so at least 1 thing done, just waiting on the tb.
I took ielts general training last march 2015. Im applying fiance visa this month. Do you guys think that it wont be a problem because theres a new required ielts exam for fiancee visa?
If I have taken this info in correctly a Filipina coming to the uk has to have completed IELTS exam or celpip to live in the uk does that also cover Northern Ireland .
I am 6 months away for applying my wife's ILR, and trying to find out if the 2 year certificate, although passed in Nov 2013 , has now effectively expired last November 2015. Does she need to resit the IELTS level A1(spouse) or can she use old certificate at level B1?
The level required for both ILR and for Citizenship is B1 Concerning using an 'old' or expired test certificate, here's what the home office states:- If you still have any doubts whatsoever you must contact the Home Office directly
We, Filipinos basically speak American English. That's why the British vocabulary is different. Like jumpers-sweaters trainers-sneakers pants-undies trousers-pants. lol Learning about the british slang is my recent favorite.
Hello everyone. Good day! I am about to book my registration for the IELTS Life Skills A1. However, the below link seemed to be not working. https://ieltsukvisas.britishcouncil.org/#/ I was able to choose a date and completed the Declaration Disclaimer but nothing happens when I click "next." Though the site says, I should complete the registration and pay online within 30 minutes. So guys, is this link working? If not, how do you guys registered and paid? Thanks!
Hi @Margot I.! I'm guessing you have an account right? This is the link that I used when I booked my test - https://philippines.ielts.britishcouncil.org/iorpsea/html/registration/showExamSessionListServlet.do
Awesome! Figured out I missed one box to tick. My bad my bad Now, on the otherhand, the TB test, no online booking, right? I just have to call them to set an appointment and pay for it there?
I remember sending them an email because you only get an IVR when you ring them. Here's the email address: mhc.uk@iom.int. And yeah, you pay on site.
I emailed IOM a week before my intended schedule and they replied after a few minutes to confirm. Then one day before my appointment, I called them to reconfirm.
