I was referred to this forum by a webfriend in another forum which I have flounced out of as I disliked what I felt was a consistent level of covert racism by some contributors there. I have two half-Pinoy boys, 18 and 11 by my now ex-wife who is from Bataan - I have custody because after a lomg marriage she found another chap whom she liked better. I have spent much of my working life in Hong Kong, in Manila and in Beijing, but currently live in England mainly for the benefit of my children. I am now engaged to a really stunningly beautiful woman who is young enough to be my daughter; when we first met she spent thirty minutes, whilst I was trying to chat her up, interrogating me on what I thought about Moslems - my reply was that I grew up in North Africa, most of my childhood friends were Moslem as was my first girlfriend - this was the correct answer as she grew up in Mindanao and the same applied, with logical amendments, to her. I think that covers the case.

What forum is it then...? We have found a tennant for our UK home. She, works with Tex, and her husband are Polish with a 5 year old son. Delightful couple. Their move to our place will be the EIGHT in 5 years because of racism from UK neighbours. It IS shamefull. The Polish Pilots in the Battle of Bririan were exemplary flyers and foolhardy ? in their air attacks.! I am full of praise for them. I visited the UK War Graves Cemetry in Rangoon. The names of Africans, Indians Etc lined the walls but all we were told of IT was Merrills Marauders" = PURE Fekin LIES.! Welcome here again Mate. Tom RACISM... As a Mick & eX Brit Forces I could give back a lot more. Never had a problem though.
Just grabbed from a Pinoy friend's Facebook page..: This lady is Princess Salem Kiram of Sulu, a Tausug, one of the first Filipinas to go to University in the States, she married a Moro activist, Datu Tahil, and became quite prominent in Manila society. Just another dangerous Moslem... edited to add - after reading Elder Brother's post below, I copied the picture to my Photobucket account and linked to there rather than to Facebook.. hope the lady is now visible...
