Hi everyone! Been a while since I posted. Subsequently - my husband and I got married, applied for spouse visa and now he has his BRP! Woo new life is beginning. However - last year when he did his cfo, he was told he would have to get another certificate when we go back to PH because he’ll need it replaced with a spouse one opposed to the fiancé one that he received last year. Does anyone know how he goes about getting a new certificate? Thank you
I am not too sure.... Could it be the case for the CFO muddling the waters as usual as in creating confusion ?? Answers on a postcard, pls. I am baffled too.
Never heard this before. CFOs are all the same for all those leaving the Philippines for life abroad. Don’t think you need 2
Very strange and doesn’t make sense. As your husband is now a resident of UK his BRP along with the passport is enough to go in and out of PH without question, (as long as it’s not more than 90 days away from UK !) I cannot understand why another CFO would be required.
Oh really? I’m even more confused in that case but I haven’t found any information anywhere either about it. He said it had an expiry cos it’s for a fiancé visa rather than entering on a spouse visa. But he has his residency so I wouldn’t have thought he would get stopped at immigration anyway? Just don’t want to make the mistake of not getting one if it’s required…
Very odd that. However, I found this link that talks about an expiration date on the certificate! So @Sqandalous, you might have a similar problem - does the certificate have an expiration date on it ?
