Not recently, no. I did manage to get through to the French Lot in Manchester a couple of years ago, and admittedly they were more human than the Italians on slots availability. https://france-visas.gouv.fr/en/web/france-visas/online-application
We did't go anywhere last year, but in 2022 it was a pain in the backside trying to get a slot, the missus had to fly up to Edinburgh twice, nothing in Manchester and London, VFS are not fit for purpose but continue to get these contracts.
Tried TLS and VFS for 4 countries that aren't so popular, last year got a slot for cehz Republic. Not usually this difficult
We had difficulty with TLS when we spoke to them they advised that they update the slots on a Monday! Then there is a mad scramble but we got there in the end. Good luck
