Hello, I am a filipino national living in the UK ( 16 years old ), is it possible for me to go on holiday to Spain and back for a week without a visa or do I still need to apply for a Schengen visa?
Hi, According to this list, Filipinos holding a Filipino passport do need a Schengen visa to travel to Spain: https://www.schengenvisainfo.com/who-needs-schengen-visa/
No problem. FYI, my Filipino wife is travelling to Spain in two months but she doesn't need a Schengen visa as she now travels with her British passport
yes I am aware that you don't need a visa if you have a British passport however as I'm only 16 I have to wait until I'm 18 until I can apply for one myself. I hope your wife has fun in Spain
Thnkyou michfudge1. I think she will enjoy Spain very much, as will the rest of us; it's our first family holiday since 2013 (ten years ago) when the kids were 3 and 2 year olds when they could both sit in my scuba kit bag: They don't remember this, of course. A photo from last year; they are both a little taller: I was always working then the pandemic kicked in stopping any overseas travel. We are ready for some fun on the beach and in the swimming pool.
