My wife and I presently live in the south of England....we have Filipino friends and are members of the Billingshurst British Filipino Group (check it out on Facebook) We will be moving back to the north of England in the next six months or so, when I retire. I am originally from the north. We hope to move to West Yorkshire (Somewhere in the Leeds/Huddersfield area), and I wondered if there were any Filipino social groups up there, as we enjoy our activities with other Filipinos in BBFG. Any details would be much appreciated.
Have you tried searching on Facebook? Local churches should have Filipinas present on Sundays. When he was alive, my father told me there were many Filipina nuns in his church but this wasn't in the area you mentioned, Pangit1.
Have applied to join a group on FB, waiting for response. My wife will definitely be going to a church up there, so maybe there will be a few Filipino's, although the catholic church she goes to now here on the south coast has very few.
