    Wherever you decide to get married---do it in the morning.
    Then--if it doesnt work out--you wont have wasted the whole day.

    Did you need DFA authentication for the affidavit that you obtained from UK embassy in Manila? Thank you.

    The affidavit is for your BF to declare he is free to marry.
    If he is divorced he must take the decree absolute paperwork with the court stamp on

    We got married in Cebu province and my wife went to work not long after she arrived in the UK in 2009.
    I would recommend this route.
    It was more important for her to be near her family.

    I am not up to speed with the latest situation regarding paperwork/documentation.

    Start to collect proof of relationship, photos, hotel receipts, copies of airline tickets etc..
