Hello everyone Need some visa application advice, please. My asawa's visa (the 2.5 year FLR visa) expires on July 8. According to the Govt's webpage we cannot apply for the next visa until within 28 days of the experiation date, ie July 8th. I'm getting anxoius that it is alomost May and we haven't done anything (apart from passing the English test). If we apply with 28 days is there really a chance of booking a fast track (£600 ish) appointment at our local centre? I just cannot believe we could book such an appoinment within 28 days! Does anyone know anything about the Govt charging about £100 for visa paper managment service? For example, they advise what papers are required, and collate them until all papers are received Cheers Steve
As long as you have applied before within the timeframe prior to the expiry of the first visa you have no worries about the dates even if you don' get a response prior to the expiry date.
Your application needs to be submitted before 10-Jun (8-July - 28 days). If you want to use the fast track service you should put in your application start now, their spaces go very fast and are up to 45 days into the future. When we were applying I had to watch the site every day for a slot, we ended up having to go to Sheffield (4hr drive) rather than our nearest at Croydon. Make sure you have a paper trail that proves you have lived together for the past 2 years spread over 6x different intervals. Both names on Council TAX, Bank statements, Utility bills. Individual names P60's, P45's, Doctors letters, NHS appointment letters.
That's incorrect. It needs to be AFTER 10 Jun (ie within 28 days of expiry) but BEFORE 8 July. I don't see any real benefit of doing a fast track on the second FLR. Just do a postal application.
Do you have to complete the financial appendix 4 f ( I think that is what it' called) I cannot see anything that says you do??
Hi Mattecube, not sure what a financial appendix 4 f is. Am going to do a postal application in the time window mentioned by Maharg, with no fast track. Provided the application is sent before the expiry date it should hopefully be okay
Yes working through the new electronic form can' see reference to the appendix vf4 or whatever it' called there' a new declaration at the end that seems to supersede the reauirement
so the online version still lists the financial requirements https://www.gov.uk/uk-family-visa/proof-income
www.gov.uk/government/publications/application-for-uk-visa-family-joining-refugee-form-appendix-4-vaf4a It doesn' mention this
Yes but it wasn't first time round so it' all changing it must be the one form the documents required and the declaration that allows them to contact third parties ie you bank etc
