My wife's UK settlement VISA was granted in Singapore .. 11-Aug-2015 to 11-May-2018 (33 months).

We entered the UK on .. 18-Aug-2015

Can we apply for the extension now that its been more that 2.5 years ?
    11-Aug-2015 + 30 months = 11-Feb-2018

Or do we have to wait until closer to the actual expiry of the visa ?

Many thanks, just to clear up my understanding of your statement ..

The earliest we can apply is 13-Apr-2018 (11-may -28 days) and the latest being 11-May-2018.

We are not allowed to apply after 18-Feb even though she has been in the country 2.5 years by that time.

My wife's FLR ends on 7 July. We plan to apply around 10 June, once within 28 days of expiry.

Thanks .. Looks like we have to redo my wife's English exam. She passed her ESOL entry level 3 in Aug, but it reading the guideline it seems these qualifications are no longer accepted. So need sit an ITELS A2 exam at Trinity College. I do so love last minute changes.

Yea need to get a crack on with that. Doing a pre-emptive online booking will display exam availability.
