Hello just need clarification about not paying tax if it will affect my application. As I reviewed my husband tax return, it shows £35k+ (box 20)total rents and other income but for (box 21) he didn't put any numbers for Tax taken Off any income. Does it mean he's not paying for His 6 properties? For his pension he paid tax as well as his temporary job . I'm just worried if this will affect to my application . . It's 60 working days on Monday .

I assume that you are referring to SA105 - the UK property supplementary pages for the tax return.
    • Box 20: Total rents and other income from property.
    • Box 21: Tax taken off any income in box 20 - read the notes.
    The notes (SA105-notes-2017) clearly state:
As you say that he is paying tax on his job I assume that he is not non-resident.
Hence it is correct to leave box 21 blank.

Just my opinion, I do not know the full circumstances and am not a tax advisor.
Check out the SA105 notes in my link above. :like:
