Hi good morning, I am new on this site..I just want to ask, is there anyone here applied for spousal visa this month of july? I applied last July 10 in Hong Kong but i never got any confirmation that my docs has been received in Sheffield. Is this normal? I applied visit visa before, in philippines and also in hong kong and the only time i got an email is when my passport is already ready for pick up. But i think spousal visa is different . Most of the post i've been reading here and other site they do receive confirmation of their docs being received.
GoodMorning , July 10 biometric ay vfs manila July 11 sent docs to Sheffield July 20 I recieved email that they already recieved my Docs
Hi, no I had my documents scanned in Hong kong and did my biometrics the same day last july 10. I don't know if it was scanned properly because it only took like 5 minutes for my papers to be scanned. and it's like almost a hundred pages. I just paid standard.
Yes I am a filipino, it so happened that I submitted mine in Hong Kong and they have a new process here which is scanning.
There's two options. You can opted scanning or send to Sheffield. Most of the applicant they sent their docs first to their husband/fiancee . But in my case my husband take all his documents here in PH coz I want to see first his Docs before we submit it to Sheffield. As I mentioned above July 10 biometric vfs manila July 11 send to Sheffield July 20 recieved Email from Sheffield Standard Proccesing And now, the ball starts rolling . Finger-toes crossed hehehee.
Good luck. I realise the process had changed since my wife's application 2 years ago so I haven't been able to offer the same level of advice as I did before but I can sympathise on the wait and the fingers crossed maxim.
we got married in phils, my wife went to manila and i sent her the docs around may time , and they had changed they system , so she sent the docs back to me in uk and i sent them to sheffield, and they were returned about a week later with conformation that they had been received and scanned.
