    What my question is does Scotland have the same laws as the Westminster goverment ' with regards to bringing your partner to the uk I'm aware Scotland has its own goverment ....I'm going to be working in Scotland in the next 2 months and will have some connection there as I will be paying taxes there '
    I was just interested to find out if the goverment up there are a little softer than the uk mainland goverment on immigration rules

    We have a government but I am fairly sure we don't have any control over immigration :) saying that I am not completely familiar with the new powers we were granted.

    So it seems the scots don't actually Have full control over there own country rather like mainland uk and all the hype regarding brexit ' I was under the impression Alex salmond was had open arms when welcoming people to live and work in Scotland .
