What my question is does Scotland have the same laws as the Westminster goverment ' with regards to bringing your partner to the uk I'm aware Scotland has its own goverment ....I'm going to be working in Scotland in the next 2 months and will have some connection there as I will be paying taxes there ' I was just interested to find out if the goverment up there are a little softer than the uk mainland goverment on immigration rules
We have a government but I am fairly sure we don't have any control over immigration saying that I am not completely familiar with the new powers we were granted.
None but they are doing a good job of holding the tory,s to account in parliment http://www.theguardian.com/politics...portation-gaelic-scottish-highlands-australia
So it seems the scots don't actually Have full control over there own country rather like mainland uk and all the hype regarding brexit ' I was under the impression Alex salmond was had open arms when welcoming people to live and work in Scotland .
