He was not one of my favorites, but a good musician/songwriter all the same. R I P 2016 has a year. has certainly proved itself to be an exterminator of celebrities. And we are not even 4 full months in it...........

RIP to one of life's great musicians. I heard about his plane being diverted a few days ago but thought all was OK, this is a shock. One of the German bars I frequent in Thailand has had "Purple Rain" playing as a regular for years, a great classic.
All you Prince fans don't despair, the great has not allowed us to be deprived of his talent. He was such a machine at producing music, even operas, he has about 50 albums squirrelled away, these are set to be released over time, thinking about it, maybe it'll be each year after his death.. This is barely scratching the surface, he had a full recording studio in his house, and his favourite thing was to make music, (aside from wearing heels) rumour has it, that there is literally thousands of hours of songs and recordings all stored in his vault.. Lets hope it gets released..
