I read my meters 2 days ago...it's been 81 days since my last quarterly bill..although I pay monthly. Total electric..£81. total gas £88. That includes standing charge and vat. Not bad for a 4 bed semi with very high insulation!...11 rads..modern boiler with a salus RF remote controller stat. I too worked as a surveyor in the home energy efficiency scheme in the 90's..and I practice what I was taught. I must have over 30 led bulbs in the house...Poundland jobs.
