I hate guns but we will never stop children from loving Star Wars and other fantasy movies, as well as cartoons.

Thank you! I'm sure mine will also endeavor to search for an endless supply of chocolate in due course as well ;) Apologies & forgive me if I'm mistaken but you have two daughters? I wish I could take the credit for picking the name! Wanted a distinguishable Filipino first name, as the surname is a very traditional British one.

Indeed! Having an imagination from fruitful stories as those, is one of the best lessons we could ever teach :)

The Rise of Skywalker is on now. I am trying to find a way of persuading my wife and 7 yo girl to watch it together at the cinema.

Nooo. More likely to be the other way around. But have been working on it today. With a bit of luck we shall all go tomorrow.

I tried to convince the little one that light sabre fighting was a bit like Tae Kwon Do. Here she is after gaining her green belt.

Very well done to her. :like::like::like:
I was asking a local martial arts school about their course recently for my kids.
How old is your daughter and when did she start Taekwondo?

She is 7 now and has been going once a week for a year. They can start at 5 ish. But at that age the focus isn’t too great. She was a bit like that to start off with but her focus is a lot better now.

It is so nice to see children who do other things as well as looking at screens.

Well, we watched The Rise of Skywalker today. Both Filipinas weren’t too impressed with it. At least I enjoyed it.

Thanks. I am proud of them all. (I've got a 16 year old boy as well).
