Despite my liberal views and support of EU membership I am still a very proud Englishman. I love how the Scots and Irish and Welsh can express and enjoy their national days. I hope that we can see much more of a party celebration without right wing nutters making about it about hate.
Saw a description on Twitter earlier of At George. Dad was from Turkey Mum was from Syria He was Roman He died in Palestine He never visited England My first thought it that we should get a new Saint. My second thought is that he's actually a great patron saint in this day and age.
Despite my conservative views and ill support of EU membership I am still a very proud Englishman. I love how the Scots and Irish and Welsh can express and enjoy their national days. I hope that we can see much more of a party celebration without left wing nutters making about it about hate.
Despite my floating views and being bored of Brexit, I am still a very proud Englishman. I love how the Scots and Irish and Welsh can express and enjoy their national days. I hope that we can see much more of a party celebration without left and right nutters making about it about themselves and getting all political about it in the part of the forum that is supposed to be non-political.
I mentioned right wing nutters because of the appropriation of the English flag by groups such as the BNP, Britian First and the EDL which made any expression of support for the flag as embarassing. Its hardly controversial but... oh look in the sky!
People do not talk about policies or positives any more, they just try and talk down the opposition with half truth and smears. This is either a reflection of or the catalyst behind the same in the public arena. It does all come back to the evolution of spin in Blair's days to the poison we see today, from every side.
A memory for me that I keep to this day https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=eOr4O66WZW0&ved=2ahUKEwjF8MX4mOvhAhVlURUIHdVUCH8QwqsBMAR6BAgGEA8&usg=AOvVaw2PaYAjaS-CJM9gv8Ti90ny
