thank you very much PTPC. i just hope the case worker doesnt question our relationship when we get to that stage.
Now you all see why I left it to Paula to complete I prepared the documents she asked for, I really would not of thought about laying it out as a "story", and simply would of just thrown it all together.
Good work PTPC, well done and congratulations on your visa success The approach you followed is actually very similar to the 'standard' presentation used by many immigration advisors. One main difference is that the immigration advisor will also refer to the specific immigration rule stating how it has been complied with. Best wishes to you both in your future life together. There's going to be some real fun times.
Thank you for sharing this, PTPC. I bet all your sacrifices has already been paid off when you finally got your visa. Again, my sincere congratulations to you both. Enjoy the UK.
Hi guys, for the interest of those who are due to renew their FLR (M) visa, I would like to share my timeline for everyone's reference. Visa stress is finally over. To the admins and moderators in this forum, thank you for patiently answering all my questions. 21/09/15 - flr (m) postal application 29/09 - acknowledgement letter dated 25/09 30/09 - boimetrics invitation dated 25/09 05/10 - biometrics enrolled 10/11 - IHS request button disappeared. 13/11 - BRP card recieved. Visa valid from 10/11/15. Im still waiting for my documents from the post. Thanks for this forum. It was all done without any immigration lawyer. It took 7 weeks from start to finish.
Thanks for getting back at us, Shane2015 and well done. You said that you're still waiting for your documents to arrive by post. Care to share, if you don't mind?
Yeah I'm still waiting for my passport and the rest of my documents. They have sent it on different times, I think. Hopefully it will arrive on monday.
I see. We might consider applying for our 2nd FLR (M) by post because of the heightened fees! Happy for you, Shane. You got 1 weight off your shoulders. A couple and a half years from now and you'll be on your journey to ILR! All the best!
I opted to do it by post becuase of the same reason. The waiting was terrible but 7 weeks wasnt that bad. Im just getting nightmares at times. Thinking i might have missed out on some things. Glad its over
