Hi Guys, Can anyone help me with the proof of marital status requirement? How does one prove they're single for the purpose of the visa application? I have never previously been married, and Google seems to be as clueless as I am in this instance.
I don't think you need to. If you're divorced you need to provide the certificate for that, which is what I had to do. If you've always been single then I don't think any proof is needed.
Yes. You only need to prove you are single if you have been previously married. See what Halo Halo says....
That wouldn't prove anything! It's ok. You don't need proof of being single unless you've been married before.
You don't need to prove it, just tick the never been married box. Never been married and 43 years old, WOW, you got away with it for a long time
You could make a statutory declaration before a solicitor or Commissioner of Oaths and maybe get a copy of a credit report from Noddle.co.uk (for free) that can show you have no financial connections with anyone else.
Thanks for your help guys. It's all a bit ridiculous really as a decree absolute doesn't mean that you aren't married, it simply means that you've been divorced. Some people seem to have a fetish for collecting them.
Hi Guys Going back to this again I'm afraid because I'm still clueless. Has anyone recently applied who has never previously been married? Neither myself nor my fiancé has been married before.
Neither of us were married, but it was in 2011 we got married and the process has changed. We proved it by presenting CNI and Cenomar.
Cenomar is easy to obtain. Just go to the NSO website. They deliver to the gf / fiance home address. https://www.ecensus.com.ph/Default.aspx
