I think this may go some way to answering your question Mike; http://www.british-filipino.com/index.php?threads/changes-to-usergroups.8570/
Should have Captain Timmers. Or the like to give across an air of authority. What do you think? Joking.
There seems to be imbalances with this system. There are seniors and mods who rarely post and trusted members who post a lot. There are lifetime members who post all the time.
I will try and clarify the best I can about how the forum uses custom use the titles and the System of users been given certain permissions. Lifetime users have been given this privilege because of their outstanding contribution to the forum. So as far as I am concerned, those users pretty much keep the forum alive. A senior member of the forum has access to the administration forum, they can provide input towards the future of the forum but they don't really have any other privileges than you guys. I've only made Alan a senior member due to his being a friend of mine, my visiting him in Cebu and his visits to me in hospital. Trusted members have accessed the forum for awhile and have been able to develop themselves and their knowledge of the forum, providing valuable questions and answers for us all. Ultimately, the forum has been designed to give everybody some sort of upgrade and incentive to keep the forum going. Lately, due to my own poor health I have let my eyes off of the ball. Which is why we have a new administrator, so that in the future the forum will be better for everybody. Hopefully, this clarifies everything for you. And where is your avatar???
I was having thoughts about being tagged as Well-known member. Is it something to do with the number of likes or if you reach a certain number of post?? Just curious..
It because you have posted a lot on the forum and the information you have given to help others is good and trustworthy. All we can do to help others with their applications is to help them through our own visa experiences, don't know about you but my memory is giving way on me now, you're a youngster though so you should be okay for a while on that score Best thing about this forum is that there is a pool of knowledge, just needs new people like you to stick around for a while until someone else takes up the baton so to speak
I feel like I am laying low at the moment (Job hunting). But will try to help in the forum as much as I could..
