Not mentioned this publicly yet, and tonight I have just asked one of my best friends to be my best man.. But around early March 2012 I will be marrying Rizza in Valencia, Bukidnon I will be flying over and staying in Pinas for 2 months, staying in Manila to sort out the CNI and everything before heading to Mindanao to prepare and get everything sorted. Then my best man Brian and his girlfriend should arrive and also have a holiday for themselves, but at least they will be there Another of my friends might also be there but he is about to bu a house next month so his budget might be too tight to squeeze out a flight and back to Pinas... Though we shall see So, change of initial plans.. Have not yet told my family as was waiting for Rizza to give all of the details to her mother. But now that they all know I just need to save up, get this year out of the way and a new year and exciting happenings in 2012 await. One thing I ask for those who know me on Facebook. Spare the congrats on there, I plan to tell my family next week as have a birthday this week i do not plan on overshadowing
Many congratulations Kuya. Best wishes for a great 'build-up', a wonderful wedding day and a beautiful future together. Yep, gonna be a lot to down to from now on
congratulation again Kuya.. i didn't squeal as promised... only to hubby though... and he is equally glad!
I can remember the 'good old days' when everyone wanted to get married in March just to optimise the married man's tax break And, plan the birth of children for March to optimise child benefits and tax breaks Only 12 months to get all your ducks lined up Kuya
Congratulations. I guess you know that you can get the CNI done in Cebu? ( we flew to Cebu from Hong Kong, I had no wish to visit Manila, in fact I wanted to avoid it! ) Easy overnight ferry to CdO. My wife (well, wasn't at the time) met me at Cebu airport, we visited a few people in the afternoon, then the next day got my CNI sorted, and that evening got the ferry to CdO, from CdO we went to St Peter on the Friday (turn left just after Malabalay heading towards Valencia), Monday back to CdO to apply for the marriage permit and book for the pre-marriage seminar (bit of a joke as we both had our kids with us ) and 12 days later we were married.
Thanks for the info Sangoma, though we will probably avoid Cebu as I have a place already sorted for me to stay in Manila and I plan to get everything out of the way there before heading south to Mindanao..
