Received an email minutes ago stating; Your visa will be despatched shortly. Passports can normally be collected from the Visa Application Centre after 3 days. Applicants in Australia and New Zealand should allow 3 days before tracking their documents via the local post. UKBA-Manila Visa Hub. woohoo
They must have heard what you were thinking? Or maybe the emails gave them a kick? They sure like to make people sweat, don't they! Good news.
My wife handed in her visa on the 20th December and she received an email on the 2nd of January saying it had been passed over to the British Embassy
I understand how it feels that your wife's application was granted and still you cant believe it I guess. I forgot to congratulate you. Congrats!!Yehey!!!! wow!! it seems it almost took 3 months to wait..I've submitted my applicato at vfs cebu on 26th and brought to embassy on 2nd of march. I probably hear my application in may (hopefully before that).
Thanks, yes its a very happy day. My wife's visa took 60 working days but i know of others recently that have got news faster... Good luck with your application
Kev. Has your wife considered the CFO visit. That should be a priority now, before booking any plane ticket to the UK.
Yes. They don't count the public holidays in the 60 day stats. So they will claim they processed yours in less than 60 working days....
Ahhh, yes.... collecting our documents and then getting her passport stamped by the CFO... That's the plan now then book her flight.... Ohhh its a happy day
Great news, I hope you have a long and prosperous time in good old Blighty. Well done and congratulations good sir Another beautiful Filipina heading for our shores
Thanks a lot for your kind words!!! Yes. I feel like celebrating but its a bit early. Happy days are here again!
Congratulations... Now a CFO sticker (once your wife gets her passport back) and the flights booked are all you need to do. Like others have said, try and get the CFO sticker as soon as possible, then book the flight.
