Took me a while to appreciate this song, not sure why.. I think it was my age (was quite young at the time). Became a bit of a fan of their later work.
Like much of the last 20 years or more I had heard this and liked it, a lot, but never had a clue who wrote or performed it, excellent track and voice, obviously pre-dates another voice that I knew a little better Heather Small http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=esBgNTg0NNw but yeah Mike wonderful track!
