Have a great time if you both go, Dom.
My wife doesn't enjoy those fiestas so we never go.
She is always working, cooking and looking after the kids o_O
Since arriving in the UK she steers clear of her country folk.
She met lots of Filipina ladies in Rugby when she arrived but was horrified by the one-upmanship saying "Too much chismis".
My wife is a shy province girl by nature.

Don't worry Mike, I do understand.
My wife has an extremely close circle of friends of 2 ( one of them with 2 lovely little girls to which I am Godfather to 1 of them}.... with another 2 hovering around from time to time and kept at a safe distance as they do talk BS sometime, and only seem to pop around or make contact when they need something.

We popped over to this as it's only a slow 10 minute drive from us, had a quick walk round, my wife purchased some filipino goodies then the carrier bag started to rip so I took it back to the car and b4 I could return my wife came back to the car and said lets go, so it was more or less one might say a flying visit, she just said as she gets older she doesnt enjoy this type of thing like she used to when she was younger, ohhhh well I guess time waits for no-one.
