Been a bit breezy today, brownout was expecting that also rain water coming finding it's way in the sala, was expecting that also. No damage but lots of rain, the eye was in south Luzon but the storm covered most of the Philippines. My heart goes out to the 45 who lost their lives. Hope Jim's family are safe.
Neighbour filled in his lot with stones. Still waiting for the Barangay to fix the problem... It's more fun in the Philippines
Not sure what the problem is but what has the neighbour's gravel got to do with the original depth of the culvert? Does the culvert continue along the blue line under the substrate or did they break it somehow? Hard to tell from a picture.
... No, not very well explained (as per usual), apart from the piece of culvert they put under the road (added in yellow) that is THE CULVERT! So his gravel/stones blocked the culvert under the road and THE CULVERT that joins to the main drain... hence all the water
The road you can see is Barangay, the land with the culvert is private... the private owner has been on at the Barangay for a year or so asking them to put down culvert on his land as he wants to put down stones and then wall... Unfortunately our Barangay officials prefer to spend their budget on Team Building holidays for themselves and their families
