Hi all not been on here for a while been to busy. My wife and I want to go abroad for a couple of weeks in August for our holiday. question is how long can my wife leave this country in five years? I know there's a time limit but have no idea for how long many thanks in advance
There are some variations, depending upon the type of visa, but a quick search seems to suggest '180 days in any (rolling) 12-month period' is the maximum time allowed to spend outside the UK on the 5-year route to ILR.
