For some bizarre reason, I have been looking to buy a proper old fashioned mobile phone, particularly the Motorola V3 flip phone to replace my HTC when the contract runs out early next year.
    Must be getting old. :erm:

    What?

    Why?

It's not like a mobile phone is used for such backward things as talking and texting these days:rolleyes:

My phone mainly acts as a second factor authentication device for logging into Lastpass, Gmail, Chromebook, Youtube, Paypal and eBay.

With only 50 inclusive minutes/month I really only have it in case of emergencies but, with unlimited mobile internet, I can still make calls via VOIP for 0.5p/minute and I can still carry on working should my broadband connection fail - just switch the SIM to the Chromebook!

I almost never make calls, it's a mobile email device that's all, the work pays for it anyway, I have another one for personal use a very old Sony P910, that one makes calls to the Phils as for a tenner a month I get 50 minutes free to the Phils.

I've gone and done it - my HTC Desire S pawned for £120 with O2 Recycle and a brand spanking new Motorola Gleam + on the way.

My Galaxy is more than enough for my needs, I know, but the thrill to handle such an extreme piece of technology pleases me.

The thing is that, due to work, I find myself all over the place, and need some means of keeping in touch, and the simple mobile wasn't adequate anymore.
