The UN wont be able to search for the mass graves while it's a war zone but your numbers put it at hundreds of thousands killed. Whole villages were put to the torch with their populations enslaved or murdered
Yes but in syria thats assad and the russians with a bit of random bombing by the west thats killed the vast majority 20 times more than Isis "The SOHR attributed 83,500 civilian deaths to the regime of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and its allies, including Russia; 7,000 to Syrian rebels and allied forces; 3,700 to Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL); 920 to the U.S.-led coalition; and 500 to Turkey. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Human_rights_violations_during_the_Syrian_Civil_War
Jihadi jack has just been interviewed on TV,he doesn't want to live in any country with Boris as PM and he "accidentally" joined a very bad group of people he wants to be released from prison so he can help de-radicalise his fellow terrorists would he have been so penitent and contrite were he not caught the pessimist in me wonders
For me, it depends on how he obtained citizenship. If he has it through birth then he should be our responsibility. If he has obtained it later, through a ceremony, then he should be stripped of it. Also, it is worth noting that, in Canada, he has not commited a crime. It is only a crime there to go and join Isis if you go directly from Canada. This guy went from the UK. So, it's all very well people rejoicing in his loss of citizenship, but that may, effectively, give him his freedom.
Like all others that traveled to those regions in serch of martyridom, he should stay where he is and face the consequences of his actions. None of us knows for certain how much grief and pain he personally caused to people that had the misfortune to cross his path, and he certainly will not confess to anything... I would feel threatened if he and others like him, were to return to the UK. One never knows when the "call" would come to start killing innocent people going about their business or having an day/evening out with their friends/families, like it has happened in the past. Let them all rot in a Syrian jail and all it entails. Because that is the country that they chose to destroy, and it has every right to exact the appropriate punishment. Wether it would be death or otherwise. Nothing to do with withdrawing citizenship. Just crime and punishment........
There's a sad bit of footage doing the rounds at the moment, southern Philippines,abu-sayaf,jihadi-jacks pinoy buddies, cutting off some poor guys head as he kneels under a coconut tree, jack would be proud of them
He is not in a "Syrian" jail Syria was the country Cameron wanted to go to war with but couldnt get a majority in Parliment It could be agued that opposition to Assad who is at least as bad as Isis destroyed the country By the by Assads wife is a Brit have we removed her citizenship?
Whichever jail or refugee camp he finds himself, is immaterial, what is important to avoid is the imminent danger he represents if he was allowed to set foot back here. She is the legal wife of a Head of State, wether you like her or not, you may find that she is precluded from flying into Europe due to existing sanctions. Brit or no Brit........
My question was if her citizenship needs to be revocked since her husband is accused of Crimes against humanity (war crimes)?
Guilt by association?Good man strip jacks old man of his right to be in the UK,i knew deep down you would agree
I dont think his mum and dad have been living in Syria with him on the other hand Assads British missus has
Ahh...ahh...ahhh Keith, good for the goose good for the gander, cmon, stop moving the goal-posts and play the game Jihadi-jacks old dear and his dad....Guilt by association, funding a terrorist
Convicted criminal mother of jihadi jack insists her terrorist son is the victim https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/ar...ys-former-ISIS-fanatic-victim-witch-hunt.html
From Daily Mail link: A Home Office spokesman underlined the fact that Jack continues to pose a terror threat to Britain. He said: 'Decisions on depriving a dual national of citizenship are based on substantial advice from officials, lawyers and the intelligence agencies and all available information. 'This power is one way we can counter the terrorist threat posed by some of the most dangerous individuals and keep our country safe.' ......and harm the safety of other countries like Canada and Bangladesh which played no role in their radicalisation because we are more concerned with making decisions that give us a good headline in the tabloids and make us look like we’re tough on terrorism, the Home Office spokesman failed to add.
