Hi Everyone One question I have is that my Wife came in on the Fiance Visa, then we applied for the FLR-M (BRP) which is about to expire, when we applied for that under the old rules the solicitor we used told us that printed statements from online banking were not sufficient you had to go to the bank get them to print out the statements and have each one stamped/certified from the bank. This time we are not going to use a solicitor and I have been going through the online application for another FLR-M (I'm assuming that is the right one, please can someone confirm it is?) We will submit the application 28 days from the expiration of my Wife's BRP. My question is: it does not say anywhere (So Far) that they will not accept statements from online banking, does not mention certification. Also it says you can now upload documents, does this mean you don't send them anymore? I have been answering the questions but not got to the supporting documents part yet. Any Help gratefully accepted. Sateev.
i did our 2nd flr on november 5th--the day the copies ok rule started--i got my bank to print off a 6 month statement--and stamped and signed it--no prob at all. all other docs / letters were copies. no originals except passport and brp. dont know about uploading docs--i guess you mean scanning at home--new to me..but makes sense--saves ukvi a lot of work.
Morning... so wifes visa runs lut on the 28th feb we sent of our renewal on the 26th Jan recorded delivery which was received and signed for the 28th jan as i tracked on RM website but have heard nothing so far should we be concerned ??
Congrats My 2nd flr will be on feb 2020 n like to start gathering info on what the steps tp take like when should i put in my application n where to send it to. Could you pls guide me on this. Thanks again
main thing is that your sponsor meets the financial requirements in force when you apply---and have a place to live. apart from that--get as much mail addressed to both of you jointly from appropriate senders.
Hi all, What will be my answer on these questions: 1. Time lived in UK? As i was initially on fiancee visa, should i count from the day i arrived in UK? 2. Please choose the reason you are applying for an extension? Should i answer "Additional extension as a partner" . I am applying for my 2nd flr m. 3. Is the submission date online considered as the application date? Or is it the appointment date? I will use the premium service to get same day result so im thinking if I could book early more than 28 days before visa expires to make sure i get an appointment within my 28 days. Is that possible? Thank you for the help.
I hate my government I can't answer your questions but I fully see your dilemma because you have an enquiring logical mind. Hopefully some of the other lads on the site will be more helpful than I am.
1= yes 2=yes--or is there a more appropriate alternative answer ? 3=yes--online application date is the start date. i cannot understand why you would waste your money with premium service for your 2nd FLR. just apply online WITHIN THE 28 DAYS BEFORE THE EXPIRY DATE OF your 1st flr. you wont need an appointment. we got our decision inside of 4 weeks. just make sure you meet the sponsorship requirements--and have items of mail addressed to both of you jointly.
we posted our documents to sheffield....that was after 5th november 2018--the day the new rule about copies came into force. but i do believe you can now scan and upload your own documents--good idea--saves time and hands on fumbling at UKVI.
