Hey guys so my baby just turned 9 months and got a British passport already but I’m planning to get her a Filipino passport as well or dual citizenship as well before the big move to the Philippines (Cebu). Has anyone done this before? What shall I bring to the embassy? We’re going there next month to sort out my son’s paperwork ( they need an affidavit of support and consent to travel with my mom) they’re visiting here soon so might as well get my daughter a Filipino passport.

Thanks so much in advance !

Your post is a bit confusing (to me anyway).

Where is your son now ? Where was he born ?

Who is visiting who ... and where ?

oops sorry it’s a bit confusing haha!

So my first born is Filipino who’s living in the Philippines and coming to visit here soon. He’s a minor 16. And I’ve a got 9 month old baby born here in the UK and has a British passport.

    Yes from my first marriage.
But my question is about my daughter about getting her a Filipino passport here in the UK.

My Mrs got her dual nationality at Fil embassy by requiring Filipino status after she became a Brit and added our kids on the same document..(from memory)

Ah really? I’m still on ILR at the moment. Think I got till 2023 left. I wander if I should get a citizenship before we move but we need to move as soon as we sell the house etc.
