You could put a video on of a gorilla have a sh1t and it would be good if Stairway to heaven was playing
I couldn't decide whether to mark your post 'funny', 'agree' or 'like', so I replied after choosing 'Funny'
I hadn't actually watched it, but was that supposed to be fireworks? If so how did the links for the rungs remain visible, nothing would have remained burning nor could any structure have been supported on that scale something very strange about that clip. edit: it does look very real very hard to fake that kind of thing, I just wonder what was going on. edit: edit: it was a 500 metre structure carried into the air by a large weather balloon, the continued illumination is the result of continued burning throughout the structure as the triggers worked their way up the structure no doubt carefully designed to achieve the effect, very impressive!
I did wonder what was so unbelievable about a total solar eclipse being viewed from an airplane, while at least the view was pretty much guaranteed due to being above the clouds the platform they were on is not a great one to observe from, teeny tiny little dirty windows on one side of the aircraft
I very nearly posted the Rolf Harris version I highly doubt how that would be possible.. The camera was shaky inside the plane yet the dot stayed dead center and could not be anything on the window IMO. Edit: (If that`s what you meant)
No that is not what I mean. It was a total solar eclipse, the thing that was photographed (badly) was the solar corona, the dot is the moon it is moving in a different reference frame, for the duration of this video it was nearly stationary, eclipses last only a few minutes. The title of the video was '...unbelievable moments...' my question was why would anyone think this was particularly unbelievable? It's a total solar eclipse, what was shown is exactly what one would expect. Being in a plane made sure they could see it, but viewing an eclipse through an aircraft window would be an unsatisfying experience because it is bloody hard to get a good view out of a dirty small airplane window. I have taken a lot of aerial photographs through the windows of jet planes, 90% were ****e. The '...unbelievable moment...' accolade was not to my mind appropriate, being in an aircraft did not make it 'unbelievable'.
I called that one 'God's Veranda', it was taken between Hong Kong and Manila on the way out on a wee Canon point and shoot Ixus 50 lucky I had a fairly clean window.
