hello everyone! i have received the approved shengen visa, multiple entry and valid for a year. I used the route as spouse of eu national. It was a very smooth experience: - opened online account with TLS - ediburgh - filled up the online application form - passport sized photo - original / copy passport and brp - orgifinal and copy of husband passport Flight itenirary Submitted my doclastast friday and received it this morning.
We are heading to paris this sept for the bank holiday weekend. Our trip was just for four days so im happy that i dont need to apply for another one until next year, we can now plan stuff way ahead.
Yes. TLS is like the vfs equivalent for france. Not sure if its different one if you are headed to spain. It must be since the tls edinburgh office i went to, only process application for france, belgium (and i forgot one more country).
We are headed to paris. Im aware that you can excercise your right as spouse of eu national and travel without any visa. But im also aware of the political situation the uk is facing right now. I dont want to ruin our holiday by ‘chancing’ it on the mood of a passport control official who is having a bad day and might decide that i need a visa etc. Just saves us hassle for other stuff - like if i want to travel on my own.
