Accept just about all you say - people do change over time and of course external pressures can and do influence things. With regard to your highlighted comment I would hope we can agree that whilst it would have been triggered by some other event - or combination of events - it must always be a woman's right not to have sex. Any other position would involve coercion and/or force which would be completely unacceptable (and illegal). This thread - begun completely with tongue firmly in side of cheek - has been quite illuminating. As I mentioned before in most adult relationships (with the caveats previously stated) there is an expectation of physical intimacy - with a lack thereof almost certainly indicative of some broader issue / relationship malaise. In such circumstances it would seen sensible to discuss such issues frankly to establish whether the relationship can return to a more conventional status. Perhaps unsurprisingly I also observe a reluctance on the part of contributors to accept that it is sometimes the male in the relationship who has "changed" - either physically, in attitude or behaviour.
