I understand that clearly is just how regarding the work. She can't get a 3 month leave and she has the proof of work waiting for her when she returns. So how do we go about that. Thank you to every who's helped Thanks
Thank you every one for the input. Any one can help on the work situation that would be great. Once she fly back of her holiday she start work again as a sectary and I don't gt why this is not a commitment and they want an absence note from her current employer even tho she stated she would leave once approved. Which now I know is a bad idea
Same as the fiance visa? So which one is better and easier to achieve? I thought tourist visa is just for a short time, but now it is confusing for me which one will be good for my girlfriend.
Basically you cannot be refused the Fiancée visa if you meet the requirements (but its costly), with the visit visa the decision is made by a case worker who applies his discretion as to whether the visa is granted or not, with no appeal of course if the visa is declined. The best thing about the visit visa is that it only costs around £87 to apply and you can re-apply if you get the wrong result.
Sorry to hear about the refusal. After reading through I can only assume a possible admin error on the part of UKVI, the Indonesia issue is what gives me that impression. Best bet either a complaint highlighting their error or to reapply. Good luck either way
Costly for British citizens. In my case because I am citizen of different EU country who live and work in UK so basically work away from home, in my case visa is for free.
OK. So we plan to apply again and this is what we got so far. From me the sponser I'll use the following Bank statement Letter of invitation Copy of my alien card which shows my address of where she lives. Passport copy of my visa stamps there and flight itinerary. Even photo of us just to make it solid Her cousin will supply letter of invitation and bank statemnts . She will provide bank statements of payroll account and saveibg accounts. Quick over view on what she will be doing in england. We now will get a written letter from the mayor signed and the same contract. Letter from the modeling agency stating they are hiring her part time and the contract. Tax return from her previous year at her job. NBA clearance OK and this part is I need some help on this. She works for communications company for the last 2 year and the refusel letter stated he wanted some sort of proof of leave. By she would be quitting it after she got the visa. So she can't get any thing to cover this. Is there any thing we should add to make air tight. I want this right cause it is my birthday present this holiday. Also what else can we use to settle them on not shown sufficiently personal circumstances regarding family, social or economic outside the UK. Thank you so much for the input so far
how long are you applying for ? best apply for a short holiday visit--you will still get a six month visa. also--dont tell them things they dont need to know. a first refusal is usual. view the wasted fee as a tax--and try again concentrating on overcoming the specific refusal reason.
Its a 3 month stay we have the funds for it and she has jobs waiting and we did the 3 to 5 day one so nice bit into there treasury.
well--at least you now know the reason for refusal. my girlfriend was refused a visit visa-in 2013-on a technicality---even though she previously lived in the UK on a student visa--for 4 years. she applied again--and got one--ostensibly to visit her sister who is settled here. she stayed just short of 6 months and returned within the final date. she got a fiancee visa this year--now we are married and she got her first FLR. this is when it all gets expensive !
i think you need to supply a letter from employer stating that they are granting her leave from employment to go to the UK for a visit and that she will still have the job on her return. that way, she still has a reason to come back (which is what's important to the Entry officer). just remembered a friend of mine submitting this same reqt for applying visit visas for dubai.
NBI Clearance. Why don't you just declare she would be quitting the job once she got the visa so she can stay there for say, 3 months. Then explain that when she comes back to the Philippines, she will start the new job as a blah blah and to prove that is a signed contract along with the application. Explain everything in an applicant's cover letter. Or how about request for a certificate of employment in company HR and request them to specify in the letter that she is CURRENTLY employed and is entitled of leaves.
They would not give leave for 3 month this is the problem. Even tho she has commitments tho for when she returns in the form of a contract and its a government one too
We did this and still got refused said she would quit one she has the visa and her company wont let her file leave for 3 months
If I was a case officer and I had any inkling that the applicant was quitting their job before going to the UK I would decline the visa without further review, they are looking for any excuse to decline the visa. We all have to remember that strict visa rules are applied to protect the people of the UK although its a pain in the backside for those of us that apply The unfortunate part of the visa process is that it is not really a level playing field as in some applicants can submit a better case for convincing the case officer that they will return home. Not everyone has a travel history, family and children, a good job, owns property, in further education, owns a business and has money in the bank, these situations can add extra weight to your application. Having the visa declined is no big deal, as long as you can travel to the Philippines to be with your loved one that's all that counts, the loved ones will have plenty of time to see the UK when they apply for the settlement visa.
