So we just applied for tourist visa and this was the reason for it. She doesn't show ties back to her country even tho she has a goverment contract for ext they won't except it cause she was still employed. That the agent was satisfied with me an NY partner really status which is our fault should have supplied more evidence . But this is what most annoying the agent never even try to contact me or anyone to get a bit more information for his decison . And then what's more annoying he then said she was applying from Indonesia which completely false she applied in the Philippines and we don't have the right to questions this. Can any one help with it more on the 1st part cause she don't want to quit her job until she has had the visa approved for this exact reason. That m you.
I just thought they might have check my flight history which would of show I was there for 7 months am on a alien card too and address to prove we was together. Again this my fault I should have sent this too I guess.
So best to reapply but I don't know how to get past the working thibg . cause she can't quit until she gets ye visa that would be stupid to do on out behalf. The rest we can fix. Any ideas.
I'm not looking fr appeal even tho I think the person who did this need to be more precise on his reasoning. Im looking for some information how to get past the reason she was working and and she stated once the visa was approves she was going to quit. And cause she had a contract for ext yea with a govermant mayor in the north. We don't want her to quit her job until she has the approval. Any ideas.
I'm no expert on this but want to share my opinion. Feel free to correct me. When I was reading about this before, for a tourist visa to be granted the applicant should have a strong ties to his/her home country. That includes: 1. a job to return to (with an employment certificate from employer to show to support this); 2. properties (example: real estate); 3. business; or 4. study/enrolled in a course 5. family (example: child) and one important factor MONEY in the bank that shows the applicant can support his/her stay/vacation in UK. Bank statement of the applicant in this kind of application is a BIG factor. IF applicant has no money and is sponsored, I'm not sure with the details. I haven't tried this application and my opinion is based from what I've read on different sites/forums. Let's hear from other member who've already tried this.
Thank you. We had enough money in the bank. Regarding means on return we had 2 contracts signed and sealed 1 was for being a mayor secretary and the 2nd one was for part time modeling with a agency all signed. This was ready for when she flew back to the Philippines.
That one (text in bold above) is confusing. She has an evidence to show that she has a current employment. I wonder why it wasn't taken into account. If you think you have a strong case and you think the refusal stated was entirely wrong, why don't you make a complaint (this is not an appeal)? Try to contact UKVI. I don't know for tourist visas if this one works though. Or just re-apply again and just try to sort things up, if there should be. Can you post the exact wording on the refusal letter?
Don't worry about it . Just get more evidence and re-apply. I don't quite get what you mean about her employment situation either. Perhaps you can explain more fully why she needs to quit her job.
Sorry so basicly they wanted a letter showing of absence by she stated in. Letter she would be quitting once the visa successful. I understand the part they don't have enough proof of our relationship we should have provided it. But I don't get why they said that she was Indonesia. When I'm home I'll give you word for word of the letter. She full Filipino and states its on the paper work and passport
I'm sorry to hear about the bad news. What kind of evidence did you show for employment? What's the duration stated in her job contract? Do not include the quitting after the visa gets approved. They would only grant her visa once you can prove she has a job to come back home to. Well at least now, you know the weak points you should focus on. Like what @Scotschap16 experienced. Just keep trying.
The evidence we showed on her side was. Her work employment with Telstra she's not in a contract. 6 months of bank statements pay roll and saveing accounts. NBA clearance. Also her old contract with Telstra. Her bank statements proved she was still working for them. Letter of employment from a government official signed and sealed. Part time modeling contract signed. And she had. a few more. Can't remember what it was. My bank statements Letter of employment Photo copy of my passport Letter of invitation I'm the main sponser this trip was supposed to my birthday present to spend Christmas with NY family since I was there for 7 months. Then a letter of invitation to family of her who live in London again with bank statement.
A letter from the applicant about quitting the job is I think a BIG NO for a tourist visa. That would mean she has no reason to come back to her home country.
She had reason to go back tho. She was signed into 2 contracts which one of those wasa government contract.
Put it down to experience and move on, use the refusal letter to help you put a better application together next time.
