Is there any indication on what actions will be taken, and the timescale thereof, should Brexit be chosen by voters in the referendum?
In case of an "Out" vote, it would have to take a couple or three years for the UK to extricate itself from the quagmire of regulations, various little known agreements and numerous other secrets.... The saving grace is that the UK never joined the single currency..... Bonus........ In his idiocy, Gordon Brown, unwittingly did us all a favour......... He must be absolutely seething now........ So I wouldn't expect to be free until at least 2020.
Oh do behave! Brits enjoy freedom of movement throughout the EU as much as is possible outside the Schengen area.
It's a worry. I'm about to bring Melody here. The day after tomorrow in fact. I think I'd better get the residencia application in sooner rather than later. Certainly before June 23rd. 2020 or not @Aromulus Once it's in the bag, "Call me Dave" can act as he wishes. Melody will be treated as a fellow ex-pat, hopefully.
Interesting, and difficult to call. Will the markets see that the world's 5th largest economy has just freed itself from the shackles of bringing 17 developing nations into the third millenium, or will they see us as having burned the bridges that linked us to our trading partners? I favour the first. I think Britain will go from strength to strength if they leave
Vote Leave for freedom and democracy, nevermind pounds and pence, it's either we will remain an independent country or will join a United States of Europe.
Unfortunatly being an "independant country" wont help us to survive the biggest threat we face , mostly untalked about in this boring "campaign" of irrevsable climate change if we dont stop believing we can carry on as usual Europe together is the remaining tiny chance in my view to any kind of hope for our Wives, children and their,s to having a sustainable future
The vote is for change. Nothing that Johnson, Gove, or Farage has said convinces me to vote for change. I'm voting to remain. I'm not voting for an unknown.
OK..I`m still voting out but I promise to buy some more solar panels to help the global warming thing.. Good compromise? Still have to burn the rubbish though as the B@stards still wont collect..
A vote to remain is is not a vote for the status quo, it is a vote for accelerated integration into an undemocratic European superstate, it is a vote for the EU Centralisation of Fiscal power and full political union, it is a vote for removing your future right to vote on anything meaningful. But I guess you know that already.
One must consider that we have a very strange situation here in the UK.. how is it that a lot is said about not wanting to be run by unelected morons of the EU kind, but the indigenous population is quite happy to be shafted by the Lords...??
I want to sit you down and give you a good talking to Andrew old boy It is your vote Andrew and you are entitled to your opinion like the rest of us.
