It's a nice story. Great to know that in addition to the she will have a secured education and parents will have a 'lift-up' too. BTW, I checked out my number and I am 2,552,387,180 I was surprised to see it's not so high. Just think of all those that came after me. Also I'm a "noughty" (no! not numpty; ending with zero) ..............that's special and lucky. Better buy a lottery ticket:vhappy: Check here for your number
I appear to have been 2,961,504,202nd person alive on Earth and 76,544,661,197th person to have lived since history began. Makes it all too clear why all the problems in the world are happening now, resource depletion and so on. People have been predicting a Malthusian catastrophe for a long time but I think we are really living in one now. You know that given the huge extension in life span that is expected for the current generations the worlds population is expected to peak out sometime this century and then to collapse to the point where there are somewhere in the region of 1.5 billion or so by the middle of the next century. Anyway that beeb site is a good bit of fun nice one Peter
Boy!!!! I certainly wouldn't like THAT job!!! Fancy being the guy who has to go all around the world counting everyone!!! Al.:england:
Like that link But I was the 2,488,824,849th person, and now I'm feeling rather old after seeing the other figures in this thread... I'm still claiming 21 + VAT
We're about the same I guess. Soon I'm going to be 61 yrs on this planet. Probably 19 yrs in much thinking, 35 years in behaviour. Whatever age I look like .....................................I'm not bothered at all. I'm very happy
Well, if you're only counting years on this planet, I can safely ignore the 60s and 70s - that'll bring my total down a bit
