Hi folks.. just reading up as were going for the ILR this year. The Mrs arrived in July 2016 but her BRP cards expiry date is October so we will be applying 28 days before that.. question about the nonsensical life in UK who wants to be a millionare test is there specific locations throughout the UK ? Also for the ILR can we just apply online and submit everything like before ? Also is there another NHS charge to pay this time ?

    Thx in advance..

Yes I saw that also but I have always thought that timescales are based on the complexity of the application.
I considered my wife's and her daughters to be straightforward, your wife's must be too.

There is a furlough scheme and calculation for those who previously met the financial requirements and who now can't due to the pandemic.
    This ensure fairness.

    Thanks will let you know

hi Mattecube, just wanted to ask, when your wife had her appoinment with the UKVCAS, did they took her original passport? Apparently when my wife attended her appointment the other day, she just had her biometrics (since we uploaded all the necessary docs online). They didnt took her passport and according to them its for security measures Thanks

Is your wife in the UK if so it's Sopra Steria she saw if she is not in the UK it is UKVCAS ( for clarity)
When my wife and daughter went they had both with them the reason for this is if you have uploaded all your docs it appears they check them before you attend and any that haven't scanned well or not at all they will ask you for them to scan for you so it's good to take all docs with you.
You scan your biometrics page from your passport to upload (mandatory) so they will of seen it already.
To answer your question they were asked for either but not both as form of identification at the start of the appointment and presented their BRP cards so yes your wife's situation appears normal.
    Good luck with the application

Yes you provide copies in the scanning bundle.
Take both when you go but you probably only be asked for one as id but as I say take all your scanned docs.if you upload your wage slips and bank statement direct off the internet and haven't got a hard copy don't worry with them.
