Marcos, the parents are reputed to have stole 10 billion dollars back in the day, but the people will still vote the son in, which shows the quality of the opposition, the people get what the people want, don't be surprised if he starts stacking paper in his personal account.

Iglesia ni Cristo has endorsed Bong Bong. I can't for the life of me work out why they've chosen him. The mother in law and family also doesn't know why BBM, but he's picked up a dozen or so easy votes from the family on the back of this endorsement.

Oh well. Democracy is a good thing, I suppose.

Yes, stopped drug lords, built a massive sea bridge that links Cebu to Macton island, Built a new airport on Macton island.
There is a significance difference on the infrastructure since du30 became president 100% better and he still making this country safer than ever before.
Less street shootings though you still get the occasional shootings but a lot safer than the other corrupt presidents.
That's my 5 years experience living here, don't believe the media crap you hear.

The landslide for BBM is the most interesting part of the result. Not just an ordinary landslide, but an overwhelming one with some well known players essentially being lapped several times over. The huge public rallies in support of Robredo were clearly not large enough!

Will be good to see the geographic breakdown of the votes.
