As a excuse of not straight background I can say it is not so easy while you are doing selfie photo holding camera in your hand
I can vouch for that, I'm in London at the moment and me and the wife are struggling with the selfie, I should have bought one of those extensions you can get for the phone
Don't forget everything is on the eBay http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?isNewKw=1&mfs=GOCLK&acimp=0&trksid=p2053742.m2428.l1313.TR2.TRC0.Xmonopod&sqp=monopod&_nkw=monopod&rt=nc
A monopod would not help to make the background level as one of the subjects still needs to hold it up. A tripod is better but I don't know of any mobile phones that uses delayed (timed) shutter release.
Tygrrysek, let me apologise also and let me say congratulations, I hope you have a good future together.
I think my new camera has a delay on it but I'm still at the pick it up and fiddle around with it stage, haven't got round to reading the destructions yet.
Well done oss and well done Sony too. Those Sony people are coming up with some ground-breaking gizmos.
Not actually an "app" I think - though I am hardly tech-savvy - it comes with the phone and you don't need to download it.
I will help you guys. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Bluetooth...lePhonesCasesPouches&var=&hash=item5413a93f93
I never noticed this on my iPhone 5 and saw that there were apps to do it, Andrew. & Your solution looks interesting, Tygrrysek. Think I will rely on my camera to do this though.
Thanks Tygressek. Neat, and an even better solution than the built in timer. The camera on the iPhone 5 is really good enough for me, as I only take "snaps" I am no photographer . 'Twas not I who discovered the timer function on the phone - K did! She is altogether better with a camera than I am.
Ok. So I think this is finishing all of this topic. I fulfil my plan now. Not the way that I plan to go, but at the end it is successful and I am more than happy to gain this success. Veni Vidi Vici Now the most painful part of everything. Very long distance relationship and missing your other half every day..... But I think there's no more to say in that topic. Case closed.
I suspect we will read more about your relationship with your Filipina girlfriend. In the meantime save up some money if you ever plan to marry and bring her to Europe. The process is very expensive, as well as the 100 pairs of shoes and warm clothes she will need Also keep copies of your online chats, for the possible visa later.
