Baby born in the UK of British (I'm assuming) parent ? No probs, but I suggest you get him a British passport asap. Always useful for any travels in the future. :like:

(I have two sons, both with Filipina mothers, one son born in the UK, one son born in the Phils, both with British passports when they were very young ) . It just takes one possible future complication out of the equation.

Your main query, I'll leave to others.

yes--online application nowadays. and you dont post documents in--you get them scanned at either Sopra Steria or VFS offices ( fee payable )

    https://www.soprasteria.com/docs/librariesprovider41/ukvi/ukvi-app-services.pdf

    https://www.gov.uk/government/news/sopra-steria-has-been-awarded-a-new-ukvi-contract

also--you have to pay the IHS surcharge £1000 now--as well as the FLR fee £1033.

same earnings and accommodation requirements as before.

Good morning guys , filling this form in is a bit of a headache, a few questions but one at a time is probably best,
1, we picked family route as it describes our situation the best , would that be the correct one ?
2, it has asked us to supply the adress of our sons other parents? What other parents? Have we filled something in wrongly

It depends if you can get an appointment at a Ielts for Ukvi test center sooner. Can be booked up weeks ahead. You need to go online and find your nearest test center. It has to be ielts for ukvi..level a2
