I guess more spouting from Messiah Malhotra.
I was on the beach today ( Med coast) and Duncun Goodhew was there advising people to use swimsuits.

I know. Some go on holiday and eat stupidly and return with a BMI in the red zone :D

Remember, it’s not how much you eat but what you eat. Yes, I know, hard to grasp.

You might mock but it is so very true. That is the funny part about it. Been trying to teach you guys something, but you cannot learn. Sad really.

I am not one to eat excess, and I grasped the concept long ago to eat from need not greed, I always said we don't need to eat three times a day, that's through conditioning from childhood, I eat when I need fuel, rarely eat breakfast etc :)

Not mocking John, if we can't point something out or have a little banter it's a rum do, don't take it to heart :like:

That being the case what’s that stuff you posted earlier? You can go on holiday, eat well as in enough and eat good food and enjoy it. That’s really the take home message from the video. But there are fools that cannot grasp that. And we both know who he is.

your dietary suggestions havent been lost on me. i have adjusted my carb intake greatly--and now eat meat with no guilty conscience. Still exactly the same weight as a year ago--96.2 kg.

today i had a full english--but with a couple of hash browns. Then nothing till 6 this evening--then a spoonful of steamed rice and a portion of dinak dakkan ( my spelling )
Sipping one can of lager this evening--collecting Mrs from work about 10pm ish.

But do you feel you have benefited? I don’t know you. You might not have much excess weight to lose. :D

Even if you haven’t lost any weight it will still have been of benefit.

I have to concede that as you have reached 3 score years and ten already then you have done well anyway. But you will surely add years.

I didn’t want you to think I was picking on you but just across the Solent across the length and breadth of Hampshire, they (the NHS) are advising their patients to do all this good stuff. One or two of the Hampshire GPs are now into this hugely.

If you enjoy meat then great. But some people cannot, either due to religious reasons or out of principle. Most of us enjoy meat but have been put off by the poor advice over the last 40 years.

It's much slower now could take another year to reach 78kg, but I will feel pretty good when I see 14st 13lbs on the scale in a month or two, 15st 5lbs was a pleasant surprise as I had been stuck for a few weeks, sometimes I think the scales get stuck :)

Yawn yawn just name me asheyboy in the meantime Sefton weight control programme are happy with my progress.
But here are a few facts you appear to have a wanton desire to turn virtually every thread in this forum into your own worship crusade of Malhotra lap dog proportions.
You have absolutely no idea on my weight loss and I certainly will not be sending a man picture for you to drool over.
From various lack of responses from many members on here no one appears to give a flying f*** what you are trying to preach
Always remember on a day out with your family reach a consensus where your going to eat not your wife and daughter in one place and you in another your on a family day out!
Have fun drooling but remember while you drool you cannot be attentive elsewhere.

And as you know this site has always suffered badly from thread drift, it will get back on track quickly.

I'm guilty of it, so are others.
