BUT I do go to apps court once or twice a month Qucks is my archery range I don't really visit the fiesta, same as Lambton, nothing new.
So you are Tawi Tawi I've been waiting for 10 years to see you join up here I see you are still on your globetrotting travels Normally the forum gets paranoid when someone turns up and seems too familiar but it if it really is you Tawi, then welcome.
Course its me,who else would deny consorting with nubile bar-girls except moi, better things to do with my time to be honest mate, besides, thats why I go where and when I please,my lady knows I am not tempted by such toffee, got that all out of my system as a kid in Honkers
For those in the forum not in the know, although I am sure a good few will be aware of him, this is a bit like having Lord Flashheart drop in at Blackadder's wedding and swashbuckle his way off with Bob Adventures on the high seas with many a tale of derring-do and lucky escapes
Been to Bhutan last month mate, that was a bit special, very different actually $250 dollars a day minimum spend plus an extra $40 as a solo traveller, keeps the riff-raff out but what an amazing place AND I met a filipina on a ridge above the tigers nest who was from Mandaluyong (outside not in).
Off to Moscow for 10 days on Saturday then last week of feb first week in march either germany or chernobyl
Our long standing member Dave_E has competition now, he's the only other one here that never stops moving
I have a photographer friend who went to Nepal about 12 years ago, pretty sure he visited Bhutan as well, he came back with some fantastic photographs of the place, it is somewhere I would love to see although I am not fit enough to go climbing up the sides of mountains even ones that have safe paths I wasn't aware of that monestry but my god that is impressive, from the sounds of it you were climbing 'above' there?
I don't think he's being belligerent Jim, I think he stumbled over this forum after a long long time, maybe did a google search for Tawi Tawi and a couple of other keywords and your post popped up or maybe he was just searching for references to himself on this forum, from memory the original Tawi Tawi handle got changed to Tawi2 not sure exactly when but I think it was at the same time as the dot post incident (in the other place) It's an old thread that has been dug up by his recent post as a reply to your old post where you thought you had spotted him.
Well it certainly looked like you going off the pics you posted on the other forum The bar in Dumaguete was called Happy Fred's, not there now. Anyway good to hear from you again, My name on the other forum is/was Jimeve
Tigers nest is Bhutans most iconic monastery if you see pics of the country its usually a white cluster of buildings built into a cliff, thats tigers nest,i climbed the ridge above as there was another temple and met a filipina who works in Singapore as an accountant,Bhutan isn't the cheapest of places to visit so to meet a pinay there was different,i met two groups of filipinos in Nepal, all working in the middle-east who had fancied visiting Kathmandu. Nope,I remember Happy Freds,a den of vice and iniquity the same as the Why Not,I never visited Happy Freds though I did visit the Why Not around 20-25 years ago for a breakfast, back then it was rumoured to be THE place in town for pay-for-play ladies
Dumaguete has changed, No "pay- for-play- ladies" Cebu or Manila for the likes of that kind of thing. My apologies for getting your ID mixed up with the guy with all the gals around him
Its ok mate,i look like I have been dragged through a hedge sideways,i am lucky to have one lady around me never mind a flock Yup duma used to have shedloads of prosti's hanging around those establishments, there used to be an old crone sat outside Why Not offering girls it used to be a very seedy place.
Did you get to Chernobyl? I only ask as I just watched an Amazon documentary called Chernobyl’s Cafe, quite interesting and from the perspective of a tourist.
No I went to Germany, going to chernobyl later in the year, in Ottawa Canada at the moment, beautiful weather.
